Amazing things happen because of what we do. Stunning buildings are built that dominate city skylines around the world, incredible journeys are undertaken and voyages to new places are all possible because they are protected by an insurance policy that underwrites the risk.

From our offices in Uckfield we help people breathe life into their ideas. The people who work at The Expert Insurance Group are fabulous, outgoing and with a sense of fun and curiosity. We employ lovely people who have a thirst for knowledge and who get a thrill out of helping people.

How to apply

Kick-start your career with our apprenticeship programme, designed for motivated individuals with strong GCSE and A-level results. You’ll begin with a Business Administration apprenticeship while working towards the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) Foundation test and three Level 3 exams.

By the end of your second year, you’ll hold both a Level 3 Business qualification and the Cert CII designation. From there, you’ll progress onto a two-year study plan for the CII Diploma, with the opportunity to advance further to the prestigious Level 6 Associateship.

It’s an accelerated learning journey that combines hands-on experience with professional qualifications, giving you the perfect launch pad for a successful career in insurance.

Our Commitment to the Community

We’re passionate about supporting our local community and helping the next generation prepare for their future. Our team works closely with schools and colleges, delivering classroom-based sessions on CV writing, job applications, and career skills. We also run our popular Finance for Females course, which shines a light on the financial challenges women may face in the workplace and provides practical steps to make the most of opportunities throughout their careers.

We regularly attend careers events, welcome work experience students, and proudly support the T Level programme. Many of our work experience students go on to join us as apprentices, beginning their own professional journey with us. Beyond the classroom, we’re active on the City & Guilds Business Industry Board and are committed to making a difference through outreach programmes.

Our community focus doesn’t stop at education. We actively support the local foodbank, with many of our team members getting involved – often starting through their Business Admin NVQ project work – and continuing beyond this.

By combining career development, education, and hands-on community support, we’re proud to play our part in building a stronger, fairer future.
